Erica Campbell is proving herself to be quite the solo star.
The award-winning gospel singer/songwriter and one half of gospel duo Mary Mary, has released a video for her newest single, ‘Help,” the latest single, and title track off her upcoming debut solo album.
Directed by Billy Woodruff, the simple yet powerful video finds Campbell dressed in black or white ensembles behind a black backdrop. She is joined by her daughter, Krista, and gospel rapper Lecrae, who is featured on the track.

Campbell, who’s fashion choices have always been “forward” by church standards, received backlash from several in the Christian community over a promotional photo for the single, which saw her clad in a white knee-length body conscious long-sleeve turtleneck jersey dress.

Already a four time Grammy Award winning entertainer—-she’s won four awards as a member of Mary Mary, alongside her sister Tina—-Campbell snagged a Grammy Award for her debut solo single, ”A Little More Jesus,” produced by her husband Warryn Campbell.
